Quality Improvement Director - posted on 04/23/10
Department: Quality
Provide leadership in the areas of quality, medical staff, and risk management activities of SMIH in support of established policies, goals and objectives. This position will ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements; oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data and information; analyze clinical processes to identify potential risk to patients and employees; develop strategies to maximize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency; and utilize performance improvement tools, processes, and principles.
Qualified applicants will have experience in a healthcare quality position, experience in performance improvement processes, patient safety, and regulatory/accreditation compliance; and strong oral and written communication skills, including data analysis. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Masters preferred and current MN RN license is preferred but not required.
