The medical community has long known that home is the best place to treat many illnesses. The comfort and familiarity of home can help some patients heal much more quickly. Because of technology advances, treatment and recovery once done only in hospitals can now be done in your home. Home health care is a personal and economical alternative to lengthy and costly hospital or institutional care.
St. Mary's Innovis Health offers a full spectrum of in-home health care and rehabilitation services.
St. Mary's Innovis Health provides home health care services in the Minnesota counties of Becker, Ottertail, Clay, Norman, Mahnomen and Polk.
Who pays for home health care?
Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans cover home health services. We complete the necessary claim forms and bills your insurance company directly for services. We will help answer any questions you may have about coverage, and if you are unsure if a particular service is covered, St. Mary's Innovis Health will contact the insurance carrier in advance of services to verify the extent of coverage.
How do I access home health services?
If you are interested in home health care services, a home health care professional will make a free evaluation visit - to help you determine if home care services are feasible, or ask your physician if home care would be appropriate.
