Where Senior Living Comes Naturally!
Located on the St. Mary’s Innovis Health Campus, Oak Crossing is a living community offering transitional care and long-term care services. Oak Crossing features four distinct Neighborhoods, each serving 25 or fewer residents. In addition to all the space and amenities offered in each Neighborhood, Main Street offers spaces where Residents can be active in scheduled events, relax, or gather with family and friends. Oak Crossing is directly attached to the Therapy Center, hospital,
and clinic, allowing us to provide you with comprehensive services all under one roof.
Welcome to the Neighborhood
The Neighborhoods of Meadowbrook, Harbor Springs, and Cedar Ridge offer long-term care services in a unique model. The aim of the Neighborhood model is to create home, where each Resident directs his/her care and choices in an environment that is as close to their previous residence as possible.
Each Neighborhood is adorned with its own kitchen, formal dining room, living room, Spa, and laundry. Residents enjoy spacious private, single, or shared bedrooms—all which accommodate favorite furniture, a comfortable chair, and personal treasures. As in any home, the kitchen is a gathering place with good food and good company. Breakfast is cooked-to-order, snacks are always available, and there are often baked goods in the oven.
Relationships between Residents and staff grow and thrive because caregivers consistently work in the same Neighborhood. Most caregivers work in blended roles allowing for a greater number of caregivers in each Neighborhood throughout the day.
